Kick-off Kirtan at Integral Yoga Institute with Satsang
Saturday, September 26th (Shabbat Shuvah)

So, please come to the first Hebrew Kirtan of the 2009-2010 season held at the Intregral Yoga Institute of New York. Since September 26 will be the evening after Shabbat Shuvah, we will concentrate on the theme of (re-)turning to the Divine. The Kirtan will be preceded by a Satsang (teaching session) with Swami Ramananda of IYI and Rabbi David Ingber in dialogue. Havdalah Kirtan with Rabbi Andrew Hahn, Shoshana Jedwab, Avi Fox-Rosen and friends. Our CD, Kirtan Rabbi: Live! will be available, as always, in the IYI bookstore. If it is your practice not to spend money on Shabbat, you can pre-register for this evening by calling IYI or by going to their Web site.

Other news: Tours, Booking, new CD coming soon!
Please keep your eyes on the KR Web site for information on other events and news. We are presently in the planning phases for several tours to take place in 2010. And there are many events in the works for locales outside of the New York area, including a special weekend next June at Kripalu with Reb Drew and Rabbi Irwin Kula. As if that's not enough, we are nearing completion of a new CD — a studio release, produced by Frank Wolf, something completely new and different.
